Octavi is the journal of the
8th Norwich (Norwich School) Sea Scout Group

Information given on these web pages is curt and generally up to date; Octavi is more expansive and permanent, and it is freely accessible to all members.

Typically, Octavi includes a huge number of photographs, including scenes of the major events, and various other events. There are 8 pages full colour photographs.

It also includes the Troop programme for each term, masses of information and reports looking forwards and backwards. There is also lots of information for parents, and for new members.

We are grateful once again to Page BrosLtd, Book Manufacturers, Norwich, for sponsoring the production of Octavi.

We would always like to hear from former members of the Group who would like copies

It is published at the start of each term including the following:

Details of events for the forthcoming term
Reports on the major events since the last edition
Copious snippets of information on all sorts of things, including reports on minor events, finances, communications, opportunities etc
Fund-raising and social events: reports and announcements
General articles, comments and requests; never-ending appeals for help!
Details of awards gained
Some photos to help set the scene and to make a permanent record for all.
Telephone numbers of useful Group contacts.

Members and supporters are encouraged to submit material, including photographs, for publication.
